Hugsmiðjan is looking for a designer who wants to create beautiful, user-friendly digital solutions as a part of an effective team. We work together closely, support each other and always aim at doing better - both for our users and our customers.

Hugsmiðjan is a design and software company helping companies and organizations use digital technology to reach their goals. We emphasize user-friendly approaches, creative thinking and effective cooperation.

We are looking for a designer who

• is positive, ambitious and solution-oriented
• thinks independently and creatively
• is inspired by excellence in user interfaces and service design
• follows developments and best practices in UI/UX
• works and communicates well in a team setting
• has an eye for detail and visual presentationare positive, ambitious and solution-oriented

Requirements:

• Ability to design user-centred and attractive digital solutions.
• A good understanding of user experience, flow and accessibility issues.
• Solid knowledge of Figma design software.
• Ability to present designs, and explain the reasoning behind them
• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is an advantage for collaboration with the programming team.
• Education and/or experience that is relevant to the job.

Other useful experience:

• Logo design
• Animation and/or video production
• Photography and/or photo processing
