About the project
Ergo faced the challenge of renewing its website to communicate information clearly, increase brand awareness, and offer users self-service options. Hugsmiðjan was brought in to develop a new site that showcases the breadth of Ergo’s financing options through strong visual presentation.
Ergo has specialized in vehicle and equipment financing for 40 years. The new website plays a key role in both educational outreach and marketing, allowing users to explore loan options and scenarios using a detailed loan calculator.
Journey
Visual content plays an important role on Ergo's marketing website, featuring photographs and 3D-rendered motion graphics where the orange color is prominent. The goal is to have fresh and distinct content that captures attention to increase brand awareness and clearly convey the message that Ergo understands all the reasons for getting a new car or purchasing various tools and equipment.
Shaping a vision for the future
Workshops
We held two half-day workshops with Ergo to review target groups and goals, work on content classification for the new website, and facilitate creative brainstorming. By the end, we developed a vision for future regarding information provision and self-service on the new site.
Conveying the message through photography
Photographic content
Ergo provides loans for a variety of equipment, ranging from dental chairs to tractors, as well as cars and vehicles for individuals and businesses. It is important to visually showcase the breadth of loan options. We built a photobank in Ergo's brand style using carefully selected stock images, where their distinctive orange brand color was dominant.
